Volunteer Requirements
For the safety of all students, all volunteers must complete the following steps before beginning service:
1. Volunteer Interest Survey [CLICK HERE]

Fill out the survey with your contact information and areas of interest.
2. TB Assessment

This is not a TB test, but a short questionnaire that must be completed by a licensed medical professional.

Drop-in services may sometimes be available through the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools. Contact the Jamestown School District office for dates. *** NEXT TB ASSESSMENT DROP IN – Wednesday, September 10th from 2-4 pm at the Tuolumne County Superintendent Of Schools office. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY***
3. Mandated Reporter Training

A short, free online course required for all volunteers working with children.

A link will be sent to your email once your Volunteer Interest Form has been submitted.

4. LiveScan Fingerprinting

All volunteers must complete fingerprint clearance.

FAQ
Q: Do I need to complete these steps every year?
A: LiveScan will not need to be redone, TB is good for 3 years, and Mandated Report will need to be completed yearly
Q: How long does it take to get cleared?
A: It can take a few days to a few weeks depending on fingerprint processing — so apply early!
